Tomorrow, August 1,  I celebrate my 26th wedding anniversary to my husband Peter! It is wicked hot and my relatives from Pittsburgh were none to happy to be coming to Florida during such a miserable month for our wedding. But the beginning of August signals to me that summer is coming to a close. We have made it this far and cooler weather will be around the next corner....I hope! And that means, eventing season returns to Florida! I don't ride a whole lot during these hot months, and Tucker is probably grateful for it...being Canadian bred, he isn't too fond of the heat either. So as soon as the weather cools a bit, we can get back on a conditioning schedule.
This year, it also means that I get to head north for the American Equine Trade Association show. I am looking forward to this and have ordered cooler weather to be waiting for me!
